you have a great staff there, many of whom we have gotten to know over the years. One area you could improve is the bar area - perhaps a television(?). If you could combine the current bar area with the sitting room across the lobby, it might be a big enough area to create a profit center. Just a thought...

We have been coming to your hotel for more than 10 years, and will continue to do so.

the hotel and staff are first class and would not consider any other hotel in Duseldorf, over the years we have got to know the various staff and see many of you as distance friends of whom we always look forward to meeting when we arrive. Cannot comment on the conference facilities and likewise the gym however, compared to the experiences we have had no doubt these are excellent facilities. Mant thanks Mike & Jane

We didn't use the restaurant/bar and sauna/fitness. The room was very clean en quietly at the backside of the hotel. A perfect stay for a few days to visit Düsseldorf for shopping.

Enjoyed staying at the hotel. Would stay at the hotel on my next visit. The room, breakfasts and sauna and the general comfort of hotel areas was very good. The staff was friendly albeit a couple of persons at the front desk marred the good efforts of the other staff. Breakfast staff and chef excellent communication / friendly skills.
My main criticism is the smallness of the bathroom. There was little room to use the lavatory, the distance between the sink and bathroom door was barely wide enough to stand and there was not space was not enough to dry oneself without banging into one obstacle ire another. Could not bend down to dry lower legs or feet. This is the smallest bathroom I have ever .
The hotel is very clean and would recommend it. The sauna and fitness areas are very stylish

I would visit again.

However I felt the price was a little high given the size and facilities of the room. The bed head was at the corridor end and so gave rise to noise disturbance. The small and eccentric L -shape made the location of the furniture difficult.

There are better value hotels in Duesseldorf I feel, but the hotel had positive aspects with the professionalism of the staff and the breakfast particularly good.

We stayed a night at your hotel with a very good experience. We loved the warm welkom at the reception. The parking space was very good. The breakfast was super and the friendliness of your personels. We had hoped that our room (108) and bathroom was a little bigger. We will surely recommed this hotel to others and we will be back.

Criticism: WIFI is not adequate the signal is intermittant and/or weak in almost every room i have been in during my several stays. Either you need a hard wired connection or more routers to ensure a strong signal.

thank you for taking your time to evaluate our services.

Within the last months we increased the numer of access points to ensure to cover all parts of the hotel with a strong WiFi signal - and feel sorry to hear that you could not successfully connect.
In coopeeration with our EDP manager, we will continue to take care of this issue.

As soo as a customer informs the front desk about a weak signal, we can immediately restart the concerned router, that might be offline.

I have stayed at the Stadt Munchen for several successive years. It will be apparent from my comments that I am very happy with the hotel and am always pleased to return to it whenever I am in Dusseldorf. On the most recent visit there was one problem: it concerned my initial allocation of a room that was fine in itself, but that was not air-conditioned and was, as well, on the ground floor at the rear of the building where I felt unsafe and insufficiently private. I must say at once that the gentleman on the morning shift, whose name I have not recorded but whom I know from previous visits, took up that problem with courtesy, promptness and professional efficiency and at once reorganized my accommodation to an excellent 5th floor room which was in every way satisfactory.
If the staff with whom I originally raised that problem had shown the same professional initiative instead of simply telling me that the hotel was fully booked and that nothing could be done by them until somebody else looked at the matter on the following morning, then the rating would have been straight "very good"s.
